Hays Affinity

While at Hays Affinity, a division of Hays Companies, I was tasked to design 15 client micro websites that would act as a hub for their insurance documentation and risk resources to increase member engagement.

Challenge

Create a website that allows Hays Affinity members to easily find all their insurance needs online. In addition, create a risk management resource that is accessible to members.

The Approach

Discovery

After conducting research through competitive analysis, personas and user scenarios the underlying problem was that the content people were looking for was buried within long pages. So my solution was to reorganize the IA and break-down information into scan-able sections with in the top navigation.

User Needs

  • Easily access risk management material

  • Locate instructions on how to file a claim

Information Architecture

Since the main issue was a lack of clarity and ease of the use, the research process focused a lot on reorganizing and categorizing the information architecture of the website.
